Delicious gooey shrimp crab biscuit melts – your new favorite seafood recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Cooked Shrimp, peeled and deveined: 1 pound
  • Imitation Crab Meat, flaked: 8 ounces
  • Cream Cheese, softened: 4 ounces
  • Mayonnaise: 1/2 cup
  • Cheddar Cheese, shredded: 1 cup, divided
  • Green Onions, chopped: 2 tablespoons
  • Canned Biscuit Dough: 1 can (8 biscuits)
  • Old Bay Seasoning: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, imitation crab meat, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, half of the shredded cheddar cheese (1/2 cup), green onions, and Old Bay seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Step 3: Separate the biscuit dough. Slice each biscuit in half horizontally to create two rounds.
  4. Step 4: Spread the shrimp and crab mixture evenly onto the bottom halves of the biscuits.
  5. Step 5: Top with the remaining shredded cheddar cheese (1/2 cup) and place the top halves of the biscuits over the filling.
  6. Step 6: Arrange the biscuit melts on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftover biscuit melts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat individual melts in the microwave for 3060 seconds, or until warmed through.
  • Serve these gooey melts as a delightful appetizer or a light lunch with a side salad.
  • For an extra layer of flavor, try using sharp cheddar cheese and a sprinkle of garlic powder in the filling.
