Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs Chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
- 1/2 cup Butter, unsalted
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
- Step 2: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
- Step 3: Cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink inside. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Step 4: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Step 5: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet with the melted butter and garlic. Toss to coat the chicken evenly with the "cowboy butter" sauce. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Store leftover Cowboy Butter Chicken Bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best results, reheat the chicken bites in a skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, to keep them juicy.
- Serve these flavorful chicken bites over rice or mashed potatoes to soak up all that delicious cowboy butter sauce!
- Don't skip mincing the garlic finely β this ensures maximum flavor infusion into the butter without any harsh, burnt notes.
