- 1 pound pasta (rotini, penne, or shells)
- 1 cup cooked and diced ham
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1 cup diced cooked chicken or turkey
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain well and rinse with cold water until completely cooled.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, diced ham, crumbled bacon, diced chicken (or turkey), and diced tomatoes.
- Step 3: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ranch dressing, and chopped parsley.
- Step 4: Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently to combine ensuring all ingredients are evenly coated.
- Step 5: Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld. The salad can be made up to 24 hours in advance.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; the flavors get even better over time!
- If the pasta salad seems a little dry after refrigeration, stir in a tablespoon or two of milk or mayonnaise to restore its creamy texture.
- Serve chilled on lettuce cups or alongside grilled chicken for a complete meal.
- For extra flavor, lightly toast the crumbled bacon before adding it to the salad.
