Delicious bbq ranch meatball & cheddar pasta skillet recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • Pasta (rotini, penne, or elbow macaroni) 1 pound
  • Ground beef 1 pound
  • BBQ sauce 1 cup
  • Ranch dressing 1/2 cup
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded 2 cups
  • Onion, chopped 1/2 cup
  • Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: While pasta cooks, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Stir in BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, and garlic powder. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Step 4: Add cooked pasta to the skillet with the meat sauce. Stir to combine well.
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the top of the pasta mixture.
  6. Step 6: Cover the skillet and cook until cheese is melted and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat individual portions in the microwave, adding a splash of milk or water if needed to keep the pasta from drying out.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions or a dollop of sour cream for extra flavor and a pop of freshness.
  • For a richer flavor, use a sharp cheddar cheese and consider adding a pinch of smoked paprika to the meat mixture.
